§ 30.01  MEETINGS.
   (A)   The regular meeting nights for Council shall be the first Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m. local time in the Batavia Municipal Building, 389 East Main Street.
   (B)   Should any holiday fall upon the date for a regular meeting, Council shall fix another date within the same month in lieu thereof. The Mayor or any three Council members may call special meetings upon at least 12 hours’ notice to each member, served personally or left at his or her usual place of residence.

§ 30.02  COMMUNITY SERVICE AWARD.
   (A)   An award for outstanding citizenship and community service within the village is hereby established, such award to be given on a periodic basis pursuant to guidelines as established by Council.
   (B)   The expenses of and relating to the award shall be paid out of the general funds of the village.
   (C)   The Fiscal Officer is hereby directed to expend from the general funds of the village, the sums which are determined by Council to be necessary for and relating to the award for outstanding citizenship and community service.
