An application for approval of final plans for the first section of the proposed subdivision submitted on forms provided by the Planning Commission, together with five copies of the final plan and the supplementary information specified in §§ 152.065 through 152.070 shall be filed with the Planning Commission not later than 12 months after the date of the initial approval of the preliminary plan. All final plans for sections of a preliminary plan shall be filed for final approval within three years of the initial approval of the preliminary plan. Extensions for filing of final plans may be granted pursuant to § 152.029. A final plan shall be considered officially filed on the day it is received by the Planning Commission and shall be so dated.
