(A) The city, by and through the Mayor, is hereby authorized and empowered to execute an inter-local agreement with the Fiscal Court as approved by the City Council by resolution for the formation of a city-county E-911 Board and appropriate agreements with appropriate telecommunications providers to provide for the implementation, construction and ongoing maintenance of the E-911 Central Dispatch Center within the city limits.
(B) The city shall receive the E-911 service fee levied pursuant to § 97.03 for occupied property within the city to be used by the city to pay the cost of establishing and maintaining an E-911 system within the city.
