(a) Definition; Requirements. A mobile home park is an area of land upon which one or more mobile homes are quartered for the purpose of being occupied either free of charge or for revenue purposes, and includes any building, vehicle or enclosure used or intended for use as a part of the equipment of such mobile home park and shall meet all of the following requirements:
(1) A mobile home park shall have adequate space for ten or more units.
(2) A mobile home park shall have an area of 3,000 square feet per unit.
(3) No mobile home shall be located less than fifty feet from any adjoining property line.
(4) No mobile home units shall be located less than ten feet from any adjoining mobile home unit.
(5) There shall be off-street parking space for two automobiles per mobile home unit, such parking space to consist of gravel or a hard surface base.
(6) Each mobile home park shall have direct ingress and egress to a street within the Municipality.
(7) Each mobile home unit shall be underpinned with either metal, masonry, fiberglass or other fireproof material.
(8) No mobile home unit shall be brought within the corporate limits nor moved upon the streets of the Municipality without first having secured a police escort.
(b) Permit Required. No owner or operator of a mobile home park shall allow a mobile home unit on any property within the corporate limits without first obtaining a permit from the Village Recorder and paying the fee of twenty-five dollars ($25.00) for such permit to the Recorder.
