Under the authority granted by West Virginia Code 60-7-7, there is hereby imposed an annual fee upon the holders of all licenses issued by the Alchohol Beverage Control Commissioner of the State under the provisions of West Virginia Code 60-7-6, as amended, or any subsequent revision or reenactment of such statute, to operate a private club or a nonprofit social club within the boundaries of the Municipality or outside the boundaries but within one mile thereof. Such fee shall be equal in amount to one-half of the annual license fee imposed upon such holder or licensee by the State under the provisions of such Article 7, and shall apply to the same time period at that applicable to the license issued to the holder.
The Village Recorder shall keep a separate record of all fees paid to the Municipality by persons or firms subject to the provisions and of this article and such Recorder is hereby authorized and empowered to receive payment of such fees and to issue apt and proper numbered receipts therefor.
