(a) "Building Code" includes all aspects of safe building construction and mechanical operations and all safety aspects related thereto.
(b) "Fire Marshal" means the West Virginia State Fire Marshal and/or his designated representatives.
(c) "State Building Code" means the entire contents of this article, Title 87, Legislative Rule Series 4, and the referenced national building codes.
(d) "ICC" refers to the International Code Officials and Code Administrators.
(e) "Municipality", "Local Jurisdiction", or "City" means the Village of Barboursville, West Virginia.
(f) "Code Official" means the building inspector, property maintenance inspector, housing inspector, building official serving in that capacity.
(g) "State Fire Code" means the entire contents of the State Fire Code 87CSR1, and the referenced standards and codes.
(h) "ANSI" means American National Standards Institute, 25 West 43rd St., Fourth
Floor, New York, NY 10036.
(i) "ASTM" means American Society of Testing and Materials.
(j) "ICC" or "International" means International Code Council.
(k) "NFPA" means National Fire Protection Association.
(l) "Fire Commission" means the thirteen (13) appointed members of the West Virginia State Fire Commission.
