In addition to any other attendance requirement contained in this Charter, if a member of any agency, board or commission authorized or created pursuant to this Charter or delegated authority by other law, absents himself or herself from forty or more percent of the regularly scheduled meetings of said agency, board or commission in any twelve month period, his or her office, position or appointment shall become vacant and such vacancy shall be filled according to applicable law.
