CHAPTER 222: ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTIONS

§ 222.01 POSTING.
   (A)   Council hereby adopts public posting as the method of public notice to be given resolutions and ordinances, unless otherwise provided by state statute, the City Charter or city resolution or ordinance.
   (B)   Council hereby designates the following six public places to be used for the public posting of its resolutions and ordinances:
      (1)   Barberton Municipal Building, 576 West Park Avenue;
      (2)   Barberton Public Library, 602 W. Park Avenue;
      (3)   United States Post Office, Barberton Branch, 531 Wooster Road W.;
      (4)   Leach’s Meats, 256 Thirty-first Street, S.W.;
      (5)   Giant Eagle, 41 Fifth Street, S.E.; and
      (6)   North End Fire Station, State Street.
   (C)   The Clerk of Council is hereby authorized and directed to give public notice to each resolution and ordinance, unless otherwise provided by state statute, the City Charter or city resolution or ordinance, by causing them to be posted in the six public paces designated in division (B) above and in the manner provided by § 5.11 of the City Charter. Such ordinances and resolutions shall remain posted for not less than 14 days.
