183.99 COMPLIANCE REQUIRED; PENALTIES.

(b) Whoever constructs, reconstructs, alters, changes, or demolishes any exterior feature of any structure, work of art, object, or area in violation of this chapter shall be fined not less than fifty dollars ($50.00) nor more than five thousand dollars ($5,000).

(c) Whoever demolishes a substantial part or all of any building in Aurora in violation of this chapter shall be fined not less than ten thousand dollars ($10,000) nor more than fifty thousand dollars ($50,000).

(d) Whoever causes by willful action or willful neglect, any altercation of or demolition of any building in Aurora in violation of this chapter shall be required to reconstruct such building in accordance with plans to be approved by the Architectural Review Board. Restoration of reconstruction shall be in addition to any criminal penalty, and not in lieu thereof. (Ord. 2022-208. Passed 12-12-22.)
