141.02 COMPOSITION OF DIVISION OF FIRE.

The Division of Fire shall have a staff consisting of a Chief, an Assistant Chief, three Captains, three Lieutenants and a maximum number of forty firefighters. The make-up of which shall include both full-time and part-time positions. All members shall be appointed by the Mayor, subject to the provisions hereinafter made and with the advice and consent of Council, and shall serve until removed for good cause shown in accordance with Ohio R.C. 733.35 to 733.39 inclusive. Full-time personnel shall be appointed pursuant to the provisions of Section 181.05.

The personnel of the Division of Fire as herein established, shall be paid at the rate set forth in the compensation schedules of Chapter 161 or by contract with the City.
