(a) The petition for vacation, narrowing or remaining of a street or alley shall be filed with the Department of Planning and Community Development, which shall forward a copy to the City Planning Commission for review and comment or recommendations.
(b) The Planning Commission shall forward its written comments or recommendations, if any, to the Department of Planning and Community Development within thirty (30) days after receipt. The Department of Planning and Community Development shall thereupon provide the Clerk of Council with a copy of the petition, and the comments or recommendations of the Planning Commission, if any, for consideration by City Council.
(c) In the event City Council is proceeding without a petition in accordance with Section 919.01(a), a copy of the proposed ordinance vacating, narrowing or renaming the street or alley shall be forwarded to the Planning Commission for such review, comment and/or recommendations. The City Council may include in one ordinance the change of name, vacation, or narrowing of more than one street, avenue, or alley.
