(a) Whoever violates any provision of Part Thirteen - Building Code, for which no other penalty is provided is guilty of a misdemeanor of the third degree. Any violation shall constitute a separate offense on each successive day continued.
(b) Whoever shall build, alter, repair or demolish any structure, or install any equipment in any structure or perform any act, any of which requires a permit under this Building Code and does so without receiving a permit from the proper authority, shall be required to pay an amount double the amount required if the permit had been applied for and received prior to such act.
