§ 120.67 ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR DEFINED.
   Electrical Contractor means any person, other than as stated in § 120.73, who holds a valid contractor's license issued by the city, and who proceeds with or employs others for the construction, alteration, repairs or additions to any electrical wiring used for the purpose of furnishing heat, light or power within the city. The provisions in this subchapter shall in no manner be construed to prevent an individual who is the owner and occupant of an existing single-family residence to observe the privileges of this subchapter, relating to electrical wiring, from installing, altering or repairing, by and for himself electrical wiring on his single-family dwelling, as long as required permits are obtained and the work passes a rough-in and final inspection.
