This subchapter is hereby declared to be remedial and shall be construed to secure the beneficial interests and purposes of public safety, health and welfare, through structural strength and stability, and safety of life and property from fire hazards incidental to installation, alteration, repair and/or removal of the electrical wiring or equipment.
