(A) No animal shall be allowed to cause a nuisance. The owner of every animal shall be held responsible for every behavior of such animal under the provisions of this subchapter.
(B) The owner of every animal shall be responsible for the removal of any excrement deposited by his or her animal on public walks and/or public or private property.
(C) The Animal Control Officer may issue a violation in the amount of ten dollars ($10.00), payable to the City Cashier within five (5) working days to any owner who violates the provisions of this section. If the violation is not paid within five (5) working days, a citation will be issued. The citation will be prosecuted as a violation under the provisions of KRS 534.040.
