The Board of City Commissioners of the city hereby grants its authority pursuant to KRS 189.280(3) that Armco, Inc., its agents and contracting truckers, be granted authority to haul 30-ton coils across city streets and state highways and bridges located within the corporate limits of the city including the Simeon Willis Bridge. It is estimated that 100 trucks per year carrying such load would be involved. In conjunction with this, the city has requested and is receiving cooperation from the Cabinet of Transportation, Department of Highways to assist in Armco, Inc.'s hauling of such coils.
