         b.   Water usage in excess of the amounts shown on the water rate schedule shall be permitted only pursuant to contract negotiated on an individual basis with approval of the City Council.

      2.   Computation Of Charges: Water charges shall be computed in multiples of five cents ($0.05) and billed to the next five cents ($0.05) figure.

      3.   Hearing Regarding Disputes: Any person so desiring shall be entitled to a hearing before the City Council with respect to his water rate classification. (Ord. 624, 1-9-2001)

      4.   Annual Rate Increase: Beginning in March 2019 and every year thereafter, the usage rates for water service shall be reviewed by the Artesia City Council, and may be increased as determined by the City Council.

   B.   Sewer Rates:

      1.   Rates Established: The sewer charges levied under this section shall be as follows:

      2.   Each property with one or more residences and one or more businesses shall be charged for each residence and each business. (Ord. 624, 1-9-2001)
