§ 94.19 REMOVAL OF DANGEROUS TREES OR BRANCHES.
   (A)   Whenever any tree or the branches thereof become dangerous to or in any manner prevent or interfere with the free use of any street, alley, highway, or sidewalk within the town, including any damage caused by the roots of such tree to any sidewalk, the owner or lessee of the premises abutting the public place shall remove them.
   (B)   When any person after five days’ notice given by order of the Town Council shall fail, neglect, or refuse to remove the obstruction, including any tree, snow, or ice, the Council shall cause it to be removed at the expense of the person and shall direct the Town Attorney to institute an action for recovery of the reasonable expenses and costs of such removal.
