No person shall erect, construct, cause, permit, keep or maintain within the town limits anything whatsoever which is injurious to the public health or safety, or offensive to the senses of inhabitants, or an obstacle to the free use of property by such inhabitants. The existence of any of the above is declared to be a nuisance and shall be regulated as set forth in this chapter. However, if other sections and/or chapters found in this code or ordinance regulates specific conduct that may also be regulated under this subchapter, the town may regulate the conduct under any or all of the applicable chapters of this code of ordinances, and the remedies provided in this chapter, shall not be to the exclusion of any other applicable remedy contained in the code of ordinances.
