ADOPTING ORDINANCE

ORDINANCE NO. 2016-04

AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF ARCADIA TO ADOPT A RECODIFICATION OF THE TOWN'S ORDINANCES

   WHEREAS, the Town of Arcadia, Indiana ("Town") has established its code of ordinances known as the Arcadia Town Code ("Town Code");

   WHEREAS, in 2014 the Town of Arcadia, hired an online publishing company, American Legal Publishing Corporation to recodify its Town Code and to publish the Town Code online;

   WHEREAS, American Legal Publishing Corporation has completed the recodification process; and

   WHEREAS, the Town now wishes to adopt the updated Town Code.

   NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE Town of Arcadia, Hamilton County, Indiana, that:

   Section 1.   Adoption of Recodification. The Town of Arcadia hereby adopts the recodification of the Arcadia Town Code as published by American Legal Publishing Corporation, including all of the changes made to the Arcadia Town Code.

   Section 2.   Effect. This Ordinance shall take effect upon approval of the Arcadia Town Council.

THIS ORDINANCE IS HEREBY ADOPTED by the Town Council of the Town of Arcadia, Indiana, this 19th day of September, 2016.
