§ 15-5-102. Civil fines.
   (a)   Piers and bulkheads. It is a Class B civil offense to construct or replace a pier or bulkhead without a building permit or to exceed construction allowed by an approved building permit.
   (b)   Construction without a building permit. It is Class C civil offense to perform work without a required building permit or to perform work in excess of that approved by a building permit.
   (c)   Nuisance properties. It is a Class C civil offense to fail to comply with a notice of nuisance property or to fail to safeguard a nuisance property, punishable by civil fine as provided in § 9-2-101 of the Code, and each day that an offense continues constitutes a separate offense.
   (d)   Building Code. It is a Class D civil offense to violate any provision of the Anne Arundel County Building Code.
   (e)   Electrical Code. It is a Class D civil offense to violate any provision of the Anne Arundel County Electrical Code.
   (f)   Fire Prevention Code. It is a Class D civil offense to violate any provision of the Anne Arundel County Fire Prevention Code.
   (g)   Fuel Gas Code. It is a Class D civil offense to violate any provision of the Anne Arundel County Fuel Gas Code.
   (h)   Mechanical Code. It is a Class D civil offense to violate any provision of the Anne Arundel County Mechanical Code.
   (i)   Plumbing and Private Sewage Disposal and Well Construction Code. It is a Class D civil offense to violate any provision of the Anne Arundel County Plumbing Code, including the Private Sewage Disposal and Well Construction Code, punishable by a civil fine as provided by § 9-2-101 of this Code.
   (j)   Property Maintenance Code. It is a Class D civil offense to violate any provision of the Property Maintenance Code, punishable by a civil fine as provided by § 9-2-101 of this Code, except that the failure to comply with a notice and order is a civil offense punishable by a civil fine of $25 per day.
