(a) Adoption. The following codes and standards are adopted by reference as the Fire Prevention Code for the County with the additions, insertions, omissions, and changes set forth in the Supplement:
(1) "NFPA 1, Uniform Fire Code, 2018 Edition", as published by the National Fire Protection Association;
(2) "NFPA 101, Life Safety Code, 2018 Edition", as published by the National Fire Protection Association; and
(3) certain requirements of the International Building Code as adopted by reference by the Maryland Building Performance Standards and this Code.
(b) Conflicts. If there are conflicts within the documents set forth in subsection (a) of this section or within the amendments, deletions, or corrections made to those documents, the most restrictive provision shall apply.
(c) Matters not provided for. Any requirement essential for fire safety that is not specifically covered by this Code shall be determined by the Chief Fire Marshal or the Chief Fire Marshal's designee in accordance with the NFPA National Fire Codes or other NFPA technical publications.
