§ 12-3-106. Removal of motor vehicles from private property.
   On request of the owner, lessee, or custodian of a lot, field, property, road, entranceway, or driveway, the Police Department is permitted to remove or have removed a parked vehicle on the lot, field, property, road, entranceway, or driveway contrary to the posted notice of the owner, lessee, or custodian of the premises. Removal shall be at the risk, cost, and expense of the owner of the vehicle. The vehicle may be removed and impounded and is subject to a lien for the costs of towing, storage, and other charges incurred in connection with the removal and impoundment of the vehicle.
