§ 150.999 PENALTY.
   (A)   Generally.
      (1)   Any person who violates any provision of this chapter, for which no other penalty is provided, shall be deemed to have committed a code violation and, upon conviction, shall be fined not more than $100 for the first violation, and not more than $200 for the second and each subsequent violation. Each day a violation continues after the expiration of the time set forth by legal notice specified in § 150.161, constitutes a separate violation.
      (2)   Any person in violation of this code shall be liable to the county for any expenses and costs.
   (B)   Minimum housing. Judgment of up to $500 per day may be entered for a violation of §§ 150.015 through 150.017. Each day of noncompliance shall constitute a separate and distinct violation.

   (C)   Unsafe building.
      (1)   The following fines may be imposed for a violation of §§ 150.030 through 150.039:
         First violation:      $50
         Second violation:      $100
         Subsequent violations:   $250
      (2)   Each day of noncompliance shall constitute a separate and distinct violation.   
   (D)   (1)   Whoever violates any provision of § 150.020 shall be fined not less than $250 for the first offense, $500 for the second offence, and $1,000 for each subsequent offense. Each day the violation continues constitutes a distinct, separate and chargeable violation.
      (2)   The applicant, any occupants of the permitted unit, and the owner of the property where the permitted unit is located, are jointly and severally responsible for any violations of § 150.020.
