(a) Except as permitted by Section 505.18 or Section 505.19, no person shall discharge any air gun, rifle, shotgun, revolver, pistol or other firearm within the corporate limits of the Municipality except in self-defense, the discharge of official duty or at special functions authorized by the Mayor.
(b) Whoever violates this section is guilty of a misdemeanor of the fourth degree.
