901.04 CONTINUING SECURITY DEPOSIT FOR NUMEROUS OPENINGS.
Whoever because of the nature of the work involved finds it necessary to make a number of openings in the public streets may in lieu of the one thousand dollars ($1,000) cash deposit, deposit with the Safety-Service Director or Street Department Supervisor the sum of two thousand dollars ($2,000) cash which amount shall be accepted without in any way otherwise relieving the permittee from any of the obligations of this chapter. Such deposit shall be in full force and effect until withdrawn by the permittee. However, if in the judgment of the Safety-Service Director or Street Department Supervisor, the permittee furnishing such deposit fails to provide for and to do the necessary refilling and resurfacing of openings, he may require that such permittee follow the procedure of Section 901.03 requiring individual deposits for each and every opening.
