§ 42-58. NOISE CONTROL UPON BRAKING OR SLOWING.
   (A)   It shall be unlawful for the driver of any vehicle, including, but not limited to, motor carriers, trucks, semitrailers, and tractor trailers, to cause their vehicle to brake or slow by any method which increases the noise emission levels of the engine, including, but not limited to, the method commonly known as “Jake braking,” wherein engine compression is used to slow the vehicle in lieu of applying the clutch or brakes.
   (B)   Violation of this section shall be a misdemeanor and, upon conviction, punishable by fine pursuant to § 1-14.
   (C)   Notice of the section shall be posted at the corporate city limits.
