There shall be a City Inspector, appointed by the Business Manager for an indefinite term, and removable by the Business Manager. The City Inspector, sometimes called the building official, is an officer of the city, and has supervision of the building inspections, including the electrical inspector, the plumbing inspector, and/or any other inspectors and assistant inspectors appointed in the Department.
