(A) The City Clerk shall serve as Clerk of the Council and attend meetings of the Council and shall keep a journal of its proceedings, as provided by law. He or she shall enroll all ordinances and resolutions passed by the Council in the book kept for that purpose, as required by law. He or she shall have custody of the seal of the city and attest and affix it to documents as required by law or ordinance.
(B) The City Clerk shall collect or receive revenues and other money for the city, as provided by law or ordinance, and shall deposit all such moneys promptly with the City Treasurer. He or she shall keep proper books of accounts and other financial records, properly recording all financial transactions.
(C) He or she shall have all other powers and duties prescribed by law or ordinance.
