There is hereby adopted by reference the International Residential Code, 2006 edition with Appendices A, B, C, E, G, H, issued by the International Code Council, Inc., as the dwelling code for the city. The residential code shall be fully applicable and enforceable in governing housing in the city, as fully as if set out at length herein, save and except such portions as are hereinafter deleted, modified, or amended. If any provision of the ordinances of the city are in conflict with the provisions of the one-family and two-family dwelling code, except as provided in this article, the provisions of the dwelling code shall prevail.
