§ 10-205. ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR; LICENSES; FEES.
   (A)   All electrical contractors, before being granted any permit by the Inspector to work or make any connection, must first present a current state license issued by the State Department of Health, then pay to the City Clerk a license fee which is on file in the City Clerk’s office to engage in the work of an electrical contractor before commencing or doing any electrical work or making any electrical connections in the city. The contractor shall execute to the city a bond in the amount which is on file in the City Clerk’s office conditioned upon the good and faithful performance of all work to be done by him or her in the city and hold the city harmless to all damages arising from any work done or caused to be done by such electrical contractor in the city.
   (B)   No registration shall be granted for less than one year; such registration may be renewed each year within a 30-day period before expiration of the payment of the required fee.
