There is hereby adopted by reference the International Fuel Gas Code, 2006 edition, with Appendices A, B, C, issued by the International Code Council, Inc., as the gas code for the city. The gas code shall be fully applicable and enforceable in governing gas and gas piping in the city, save and except such portions as are hereinafter deleted, modified, or amended, as fully as if set out herein. If any provision of the ordinances of the city are in conflict with the provisions of the gas code, except as provided in this article, the provisions of the gas code shall prevail.
