LOT. A parcel of land intended to be treated as a unit for transfer of ownership or for development.

LOT AREA. The total area included within the boundaries of a lot, measured in a horizontal plane. In the case of a lot abutting an alley, LOT AREA shall include one-half of the area of such alley, but not more than ten feet of alley width shall be included in lot area.

LOT LINES. The lines bounding a lot.

LOT LINE, FRONT. A lot line that is also a street line.

LOT LINE, REAR. The lot line opposite the front lot line. In the case of a corner lot, the shorter of such lines.
