The applicator shall be required to provide the city and the Airport Commission with a performance bond or other proper security, either cash or from a reputable company licensed to do business in the state, in the sum of $10,000, to cover the cost of any cleanup resulting from any spillage or accident. The bond shall cover any incidents either on the leased premises, on the airport grounds, or away from the airport grounds. The applicator shall not commence any business until such bond requirement has been satisfied. Leaking spray nozzles, hoppers, or tanks will constitute such incidents of spillage, as described in “spills,” defined under performance bond above.
