§ 60.60. SCREENING OF USES.
   (A)   Where this appendix requires that a permitted use on any zoning lot be screened for the protection of other uses, such screen shall be placed and maintained in good order on such lot at the expense of the owner or occupant of such lot.
   (B)   The screen required by subsection (A) above shall be an opaque fence, a masonry wall, or a hedge or buffer consisting of evergreen trees, shrubbery, and/or other evergreen vegetation of sufficient thickness and height to prevent, in so far as practical, the passage of dust, dirt, and glare, and to conceal, in so far as practical, any unsightly or obnoxious activities inherent in the screened use.
   (C)   If the required screen is provided in the form of a masonry wall, it shall meet the following requirements.
      (1)   It shall be so designed and constructed as to facilitate maintenance and not modify natural drainage in such a way as to endanger property other than that on which such use is located.
      (2)   The outer face of such wall (the face away from the use which is to be screened) shall be of clay brick, stone, embossed or pierced concrete block, or other decorative masonry material.
   (D)   Where such screen is required for automobile parking, it shall be at least two and one-half feet high; for screening other uses, it shall be at least six feet high.
   (E)   Such screen shall comply with any yard requirements for the district in which it is located.
