For the purpose of financing the necessary expenditures in carrying out the purpose of this article, there is hereby created in the city accounts and treasury a special fund to be designated the “Airport Fund,” wherein revenues obtained by the municipality from the ownership, control, or operation of the airport and lands connected therewith shall be deposited, appropriated, and used in conformity herewith.
