(A) The title of this appendix shall be the Alva Zoning Ordinance.
(B) This appendix is hereby declared to be enacted for the preservation and promotion of the public health, welfare, and safety, and for the preservation and promotion of the convenience, good order, tranquility, happiness, best interests, and general welfare of the inhabitants of the city, and of the general public, and to facilitate and encourage the orderly growth and expansion of this municipality, as authorized by 11 O.S. §§ 43-101 et seq.
