§ 6-44. SAME – LENGTH OF VALIDITY; RENEWAL.
   A kennel license shall be valid for a period of one year from the date of issuance and shall be subject to all city ordinances. The holder of the kennel license shall, prior to the anniversary date of the issuance of said license, make application for renewal. Upon such application, upon inspection by the City Inspector or the designated representative appointed by the Business Manager and approval of the same, and upon payment of the license fee, the license holder shall be granted a renewal of the kennel license. The City Inspector, or the designated representative appointed by the Business Manager, shall have authority as deemed reasonable and necessary for protection of the public welfare to inspect a kennel for compliance with city, county, state, and federal laws, ordinances, or regulations; and shall likewise have authority to inspect a kennel upon a complaint made to the city.
