8-3-7: PARKING IN RESIDENTIAL AREAS RESTRICTED:
   A.   It shall be unlawful for motor vehicles of the second division to park in the corporate limits of the city which is located within a residential district as shown on the zoning district map of the city, excepting those vehicles parked for the purpose of, and while actually engaged in, loading and unloading; and excepting those vehicles having a license or gross weight not in excess of eight thousand (8,000) pounds, and provided the overall length of such vehicle does not exceed twenty two feet (22'). The above and foregoing shall not apply to vehicles licensed as recreational vehicles.
   B.   It shall be unlawful for any motor vehicle having an overall length which exceeds twenty four feet (24') to park on city streets in the corporate limits of the city which is located within a residential district as shown on the zoning district map of the city, excepting those vehicles parked for the purpose of, and while actually engaged in, loading and unloading.    C.   No off street parking shall be permitted in any yard located in any residential district, including, but not limited to, the front, side, and back yards, except upon a driveway providing access to a garage, carport, or parking area for a dwelling. Any person who knowingly allows a vehicle to be parked in a yard in violation of this subsection upon property to which he has right of possession shall be guilty of a violation of this subsection. Any person who parks a vehicle upon a yard in violation of this subsection, regardless of ownership of the vehicle, shall be deemed guilty of a violation of this subsection. (Ord. 6553, 1-10-2001)
