The following words or phrases as used in this chapter shall have the following meanings:
PROOF OF INSURANCE: A certificate of insurance issued by a reputable insurance company licensed to do business in the state of Illinois, establishing to a reasonable degree of certainty that the applicant for a regulatory certificate or permit as required by this chapter is an insured with insurance coverage of not less than one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000.00) per person, three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000.00) aggregate, for liability duty to personal injury claims and not less than fifty thousand dollars ($50,000.00) coverage for property damage claims.
TREE TRIMMER: Any person or entity performing for consideration the work of trimming, cutting or removing any growing or standing tree or tree limbs, including stump removal, within the city of Alton. (Ord. 7077, 5-28-2008)
