A. The commission and its members may hold meetings and conduct their responsibilities in the facilities of the Alton City Hall by scheduling the use of the available facilities through the office of the city clerk.
B. In the performance of their responsibilities the commission and its members shall abide by the Illinois open meetings act and the commission shall be considered a "public body" for all legal purposes.
C. The commission and its members shall have no authority to incur any financial obligations of any kind in the name of the city without prior approval of the mayor and city council as to any specific item or expense. (Ord. 7447, 3-11-2015)
