(a) No convicted sex offender shall be or remain in the City for a period of more than five days without registering during such five-day period with the Police Chief in the manner herein provided.
(b) Any convicted sex offender who does not reside in the City, but who has a temporary or permanent place of abode outside the City and comes into the City on five occasions or more during any thirty-day period, shall be subject to the provisions of this chapter and shall, on or before entering the City on such fifth occasion, register in the manner hereinafter provided.
(c) Any person who has once registered with the Police Chief as a convicted sex offender under this chapter shall not be required to register again, except as provided under Section 557.04. (Ord. 14-55. Passed 3-22-55.)
(d) Whoever violates this section is guilty of a misdemeanor of the fourth degree.
