557.04 CHANGE OF ADDRESS REQUIRES NEW REGISTRATION.
   (a)    Any convicted sex offender, excepting a nonresident, who is required to register under the provisions of this chapter, who changes his place of residence, stopping place or living quarters, shall, within forty-eight hours after such change, and any nonresident convicted sex offender mentioned in previous sections who has registered and changes his place of residence, stopping place or living quarters shall, upon his next entry into the City after such change, notify the Police Chief of such fact and furnish to the Police Chief the address of his new residence, stopping place or living quarters, in the same manner and with the same detailed information as was required in the filing of the original statement under the provisions of this chapter.

   (b)    Whoever violates this section is guilty of a misdemeanor of the fourth degree.
