A sale or transfer of any interest in a massage establishment, which interest would be reported as required in this chapter upon application for an Alhambra massage establishment registry, shall be reported to the Director within ten days of the sale or transfer. The Director shall investigate any person receiving any interest in a massage establishment as a result of the sale or transfer, and if the person satisfies the requirements relating to Alhambra massage establishment registry applicants, the existing Alhambra massage establishment registry shall be endorsed to include the person. A fee as set by resolution of the City Council shall be paid to the city for the investigation by the Director necessitated by each sale or transfer.
