5-1-13: VIOLATION; PENALTIES; REMEDIES:

   A.   Misdemeanor Violation; Penalty: Any person violating any provision of this chapter shall, upon conviction, be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be punished pursuant to section 1-4-1 of this code, plus the costs of prosecution. Each day a nuisance continues to exist is deemed a separate punishable offense under this chapter.

   B.   Civil Remedies: The city may, in its discretion, seek any civil remedies available to it as well, including, but not limited to, injunctive relief or abatement.

   C.   Administrative Fine: The city may enforce this chapter via an administrative fine imposed pursuant to city ordinance authorizing the imposition of such code offense fines as established in section 3-1-3 of this code at table section 1-6-2.

   D.   Cumulative Remedies: Each right or remedy accruing to the city under this chapter or at law is separate and distinct and may, in the city's discretion, be exercised independently or simultaneously with any other right or remedy. (Ord. 2017-01, 1-3-2017)
