A. License Required:
1. It shall be unlawful for any person to engage in the business of doing plumbing work in the City without having first obtained the plumber's license herein provided for. (Ord. 545, 12-15-1969)
2. Prior to the issuance of any permit to perform plumbing work within the corporate limits of the City, a plumbing contractor shall be required to be licensed as a master plumber by the Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners. (Ord. 11-15-94A, 11-15-1994)
B. License Fee: There shall be paid to the City a plumber's license and inspection fee of twenty five dollars ($25.00) per annum on any business engaged in doing any plumbing work in the City, which fee shall be collected from every person owning and operating any such business engaged in doing plumbing work in the City before a plumber's license or renewal thereof is issued, which fee shall be paid annually in advance, with each such license issued covering the calendar year for which it is so issued. C. License Renewal: Said license shall be renewed thirty (30) days prior to the expiration date. (1994 Code)
