§ 112.11 RELATIONSHIP TO ZONING REGULATIONS; PRIORITY OF LICENSE AND PERMIT REQUIREMENTS.
In the event the town shall hereafter adopt any zoning ordinance affecting the place or manner of operating junk yards or salvage yards, the provisions and requirements of this chapter shall be construed as separate from and in addition thereto and not as superseded thereby, excepting only to the extent that the zoning ordinance may impose further or stricter standards, restrictions or requirements. However, no new license to operate a salvage yard or junk yard shall be granted by the Clerk or Town Council pursuant to §§ 112.03 or 112.04 until evidence is presented that a valid zoning (improvement location) permit has been issued for the business by the appropriate zoning authority; but conversely no such zoning permit shall be construed as sufficient in lieu of the license required under this chapter.
