The Animal Control Officer, law enforcement officer or agent representing the city may impound any dog or domestic animal in violation of §§ 93.02 through 93.06 of this chapter. Notice of impound shall be given to the owner of the animal, if known, and if the owner is not known, notice shall be posted at City Hall and the animal shelter. After seven business days, the Animal Control Officer shall dispose of the above animal in accordance with the city animal shelter policy. The above fee for impoundment shall also be in accordance with the city animal shelter policy. The animal shelter policy shall be posted at the city animal shelter.
