§ 96.03 STORAGE IN OPEN RESTRICTED.
   It shall be unlawful for any person or entity to openly store or allow to remain in the open upon public or private property within the corporate limits of the town any abandoned motor vehicle or unregistered motor vehicle for a period of three days or more on public property, or for a period of 48 hours on private property without the consent of the owner or person in control of the property, or for a period of 20 days or more on private property, unless such motor vehicle is used as part of an automobile sales or repair business which operates under a duly issued and exhibited retail license and is operated and located in a properly zoned area. The provisions of this section shall not apply to auto scrapyards or salvage rebuilders or recyclers that are duly operated and licensed by the state and the town, and are operated and located in a properly zoned area.
