Upon failure of the owner or occupant to comply with the notice provided for in § 95.20 of this chapter, the town shall cause such weeds or grasses to be so cut down and removed from such premises at its own expense and shall keep an accurate account of the expense of such cutting and removal on each lot or parcel of ground. Thereafter, the Clerk-Treasurer of the town shall certify the cost of such cutting and removal upon each lot or parcel of ground to the County Auditor, together with the description of the lot or parcel of ground to be placed on the tax duplicate and collected as taxes are now collected against such lot or parcel of ground as provided by law.
